Families need to understand that what appears to be a thoughtful 'gift' can quickly turn into a burden if there is a sudden "health crisis."     Barbara will address the shifting dynamics of elder care from the government to the individual which is at the core of our national, social and political debate.

  • "Financial and Legal Issues to Consider." Presented by: the Alzheimers Association at the Waukesha Community Service Center (Good Will Industries). 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. and Barb will be speaking from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

    Barbara will address several issues regarding the financial cost of all long-term care options available today. Issues such as long-term care insurance, divestment, Medicaid and SOP programming will be discussed along with levels of care, types of assisted living available and the impact financially to you.
