Secure At Home - With Critical Signal Technologies

Seniors and their caregivers can now rest easy knowing that - if Mom didn’t get out of bed today, or Dad didn’t take his prescription on time – the care center will contact the senior and whomever they have pre-selected to be notified what’s going on in the senior’s home.

The technology is known as PERS: Personal Emergency Response Systems – but it’s more than the ‘panic button’ service the name suggests. Secure At Home provides monitoring for a full array of needs, including blood pressure, activity in or out of bed or a chair, falling or sudden movements, and even dispenses and monitors medication compliance!

Using state of the art technology and a world class monitoring center, Critical Signal Technologies (CST) helps seniors and those rehabilitating at home, to get the security of constant help at their fingertips, without the intrusion of home care aides or video monitoring.

Secure At Home combines intimate professional service with innovative, cost-effective products manufactured by leading health care companies.  The products provide the “gateway” or “bridge” between the customer and the Care Center.  The standard PERS product and the medication monitoring system are illustrated below.

The standard Bob 3600 PERS product transmits the help signal from a pendant worn by the customer to the Care Center.

The Medication Monitoring System (MMS) can be loaded, either by a family member or home health nurse, with up to 28 doses of medication depending on the delivery rate per day.

The Bob 4000 PERS product transmits the help signal from a pendant worn by the customer to the Care Center.

BOB VSG is a vital signs monitoring unit that automatically collects and stores data for the wireless vital signs monitoring devices and transmits information via conventional telephone lines to the Care Center.

There are many other units available. As a consumer, you do not have to worry about what unit to choose. We have social workers and registerd nurses on staff to hlep you decide what unit fits your needs.

We also have specialty units that are designed to manage an entire assisted living facility or group home. This is more efficient than pull cords becuase not very often does a senior physicially fall next to the cord. A Secure At Home unit allows nursing staff to respond immediately to an emergency or a fall.
